I wanted to share some of my favorite things that I have used throughout my pregnancy because we all know comfort is best! Plus, the majority of these are non-maternity.
- Leith Dress: I have this exact dress in 3 colors + wear them almost every day (not kidding) because they’re easy to throw on, flattering, but not fitted, + perfect for summer. I wear them with this bralette + add a front knot to the bottom of the dress (on either right or left side) to dress it up a bit.
- Tummy Rub: This really has been the only cream I’ve used on my belly + still don’t have any stretch marks. Pregnant mamas, don’t forget to use this on your boobs + butt, as well, because I neglected those areas + did get some stretch marks there.
- Best Undies: Okay, I was wandering around the lingerie section looking for a good, comfortable bra + came across these. When I tell you that they are the best, especially during pregnancy when you don’t want anything snug on you, it’s because they are. They don’t tug at the waist, they’re flattering, + easy to wear all day long. I have them in both nude + black. These are also great!
- Wireless Bra: I bought this bra for myself + for my mom because who doesn’t want to feel comfortable all day long? I was having a hard time with my regular bras, including sports bras because they tugged + as my breasts were growing I needed something that was supportive + comfortable. This bra has a buttery-soft, barely-there fabric that makes you feel like you’re not wearing a bra at all. I would say this is perfect for lounging in + easy to wear underneath tees. I am currently a C cup + love the amount of support it provides. My mom has a bigger bust + also said that she loves the way this bra feels–lightweight, no wire tugging underneath breasts, + the racerback provides great support for her bigger bust. If you want light padding, I would look into buying this bra.
- Shaper Panty: These are a lifesaver! I bought this shaper right before our Italy trip to wear underneath my dresses. With it being summer + humid, anytime I spent outside, I immediately started to sweat which led to my thighs rubbing–couldn’t stand this. These shapers not only saved my thighs from irritation but they also provide great belly support. I wish I had these throughout my whole pregnancy!
- Pregnancy Pillow: Can’t sleep without this pillow! It provides great support while sleeping on my sides. I highly recommend this.
- Best Tee: I wear this tee ALL the time! I love how lightweight, simple, + soft this tee is. I throw it on with my leggings for a casual day at home or for a day on-the-go. It’s easy to layer with a denim jacket or cardigan. A must-have tee to have whether you’re pregnant or not. Comes in so many colors. Definitely size up as your belly begins to grow.
- Super Comfy Leggings: If you don’t own a pair of these leggings, please buy a pair soon. They are pricey but so worth it. I love that I can wear them throughout my pregnancy without feeling any discomfort on or around my belly–still wearing my normal size. These leggings are designed for yoga so they have a buttery-soft, sweat-wicking fabric that is great for all-day wear. I love throwing these on with my Madewell tees. They also come in different colors. These crops are also a must-have!
- Good Mama Jeans: I love these jeans so much! I actually wore this brand before I found out I was pregnant + was so happy when Khloe came out with this maternity line. They do run big, so size down. I am normally a size 27-28W, size 4-6 depending on the brand + wear a size 2 in these jeans in both regular + maternity styles. All you need is one pair to wear your entire pregnancy! Check them out in black + in dark wash. If you’re looking for something a little edgier, check out these black, waxed jeans. Also a must post-baby because they lift, support, + are super flattering.
- Best Body Suit: I love this bodysuit! You can wear it whether you’re pregnant or not. It’s soft, stretchy, + comfortable. I plan on ordering more to wear this fall with jeans + booties. I love this style + this style for fall. Check out their ‘Baby Mama’ line here.
- Nourishing Body Butter: This is another great body butter to help keep your skin hydrated during any season. It’s a nourishing butter that keeps your skin hydrated for up to 48 hours which is key while being pregnant as your skin stretches constantly. I love that it moisturizes without leaving your skin oily, sticky, or buttery.
Where were all these cool things when I was pregnant? Lol. I am sure you have helped so many with these awesome suggestions!š
